JMJ Construction began as a joint venture between two friends and construction enthusiasts, seeking a better way of life for clients and employees.

Gregory Smith, owner of the JMJ Repairs brand serving Charlotte since 2018, joined forces with Elliot Consoli, a professional salesperson and self-taught carpenter and remodeler. Both Charlotte-transplants, their stories started with buying run-down homes and independently renovating them top-to-bottom in 2020 and 2023 respectively. Both served as general contractors for their own projects in an effort to build a better home for their families amidst the brutal Charlotte real estate market. Greg and Elliot partnered on several projects over 2023 & 2024 and discovered complementary skills and a joint passion for reinventing spaces with a focus on quality and efficiency.

Their company is born out of their passions and experiences: bringing inventive design and reliable construction to the greater Charlotte market, so families and businesses can thrive and grow in carefully crafted spaces. We seek to do business as we would have it done to us, and to build a better working environment for our employees and subcontractors.
